Whose Wrath Are You Really Incurring Against You?
by Ronald W Robey

Those who attend, or are members of a religious institution that teaches that “God requires a monetary tithe of all His children” often hear how that “if you don’t tithe to the local church you are a member of, you are robbing God and God is angry with you.”

The truth is, God will not get angry with you if you do not tithe your money to your local church. Rather, it is the pastor, or the pastoral staff whose anger will be manifested.

If you stop tithing, they will eventually send you a letter, or will visit your home or workplace, inquiring as to why you have not been tithing lately.

At that time, many will also remind you how you are incurring the wrath of Almoghty God for not tithing.

They then present you with an ultimatum,… either you resume tithing to the church, or they will be forced to remove you from the membership role. If you have any ministry in the church, they will inform you that your ministry privileges have been canceled until you resume tithing your monetary income to the church.

So, the truth comes out,… it is not the wrath of God that is kindled against you for not tithing your monetary income to the church. Rather, it is the wrath of the leadership of the church that wishes ill-will toward you, your family, your home, your job security, your financial status, etc., etc.

As you realize that it is the ministry that is angry at you and not God, you will readily see how the monetary tithe requirement doctrine is actually a scam invented in order to extort money, (through fear tactics and manipulation) from you and other members of the congregation.

Friends, God does want us to give. But our giving should be directed toward those who are poor, i.e.; widows, orphans, etc., etc.,… not to extortioners and thieves who lie from what should be esteemed as a sacred desk.

Proverbs 22:16 He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.

Proverbs 29:7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
