Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

This is interesting. Notice the Apostle Paul said, “He gave SOME,…, and SOME,…, etc., etc..”

He did not give ALL “Apostles,” “Prophets,” “Evangelist’s,” “Pastors and Teachers.” HE GAVE SOME.

This tells me that NOT ALL need Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.” Only SOME do.

Pastor’s have used that passage out of context in order to prove that we should be in a religious institution under the authority of a pastor,” when the verse implies no such thing.

Some may need those leaders. Others do not.

Clearly, if a pastor is teaching the monetary tithe requirement doctrine, we don’t need him at all,… contrary to his egotistical claim that we should be listening to his teachings.

If ever I find a pastor who teaches the word of God instead of his opinion of what the word of God should say, I will listen to that pastor.

For now, I will continue to arm myself with the truth.
