Faithful Steward? or Easy Target?
by Ronald W Robey

The American Dictionary of Law defines Extortion as, “The obtaining of property from another, with his consent, induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right.”

Monetary tithing is not giving back to God. It is giving to an extortioner. A decietful pastor who has manipulated the word of Truth in such a way that he is able to rob you with your consent.

The pastor has convinced you that God requires ten percent of your monetary income and that he has the authority to receive that alleged tithe. Many pastors use Malachi 3:8-10 to guilt you into tithing. Still others will use the passage to instill the fear of a curse for not tithing. Many even take it to the extreme and say you will end up in hell for not tithing.

Considering the definition of Extortion given above, it is easy to see that these pastors who teach a monetary tithe requirement are all guilty of employing extortion tactics in order to acquire ten percent of your monetary income.

My Bible tells me that giving to God is feeding the hungry; drink to the thirsty; clothes to the naked; medical attention to the sick; and hospitality to the foreigner.

My Bible further tells me that stewards are to be found faithful. It is not faithful stewardship to give a lying preacher your money.

They Reject God
by Ronald W Robey

Here is a passage that describes all preachers and teachers who teach the monetary tithe requirement doctrine,…

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The pastor denies the Lord that bought him.

Oh, he may argue that he does not deny the Lord,… but in reality, he does.

You see, in order to teach a god that requires monetary tithing; in order to teach a god that will curse someone for not tithing his money; in order to teach a god that calls those who do not tithe their money “robbers of God,” one has to deny the true God,… the God that said His holy tithe is agricultural crops, flocks and herds.

The Psalmist wrote in Psalms 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”. Since there is no command or instruction in the word of God for monetary tithes to be given to Tabernacle, Temple, Synagogue or Church, in order for anyone to teach or preach a monetary tithe, that one must depart from the illumination that God has provided through His word, and walk a dark path of deception.

Monetary tithe teachers reject the true God for a god of their own greed.

Proverbial Wisdom and Admonishment
by Ronald W Robey

Proverbs 29:7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

So many preachers and teachers of the monetary tithe requirement lie are guilty of ignoring the plight of the poor.

Through the tithing lie, preacher teach the poor that the way out of poverty is to submit ten percent of what little money they have into their kingdoms they call “church”.

And because many of the poor do not read their Bibles, they fall prey to these ravening wolves and their unjust taxation.

Friends and Brethren, I encourage you to be as the Berean’s of old. Don’t stop at receiving what the pastor is saying and take that for truth. Search the Scriptures to see if what you are being told is truth.

If it is not, it should be rejected.

The monetary tithe requirement doctrine is not truth. If you spent the next three years of your life writing down every single verse in your Bible from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, you would discover that there are no verses in the entire text of the Bible that teach a monetary tithe requirement doctrine.

Pastor’s have handled the word of God deceitfully. God never commanded such a tithe. Nor did He ever authorizes such a doctrine to be taught in the local assemblies of His Body.

If you are in such a church, it is time to either

a) leave that den of thieves,
or
b) remove those teachers of the monetary tithe doctrine from their teaching and preaching positions. They are leading you away from truth, not to truth.

They are even guilty of teaching a false god. They teach a god that requires tithes of one’s monetary income, when the true God never required tithes of monetary income.

In Matthew 7:15, Jesus warned of false prophets who would seem to be legit men of God but are inwardly extortioners. It’s high time the Body of Believer’s took Jesus’ warning seriously.

Taking into account the wisdom found in Proverbs 29:7, it is safe to say that God would rather you give money directly to a poor person in the congregation than to the deceiver in the pulpit.
If one wants to be obedient to God in tithing, one should research the when; what’ who; where and why of tithing so as to not be found in rebellion,…

Question:
What is one supposed to tithe?

Pastor’s Answer:
Monetary income.

Agricultural crops, flocks and herds. Leviticus 27:30-33

Pastor’s Answer:
Weekly or Bi-weekly, depending on your payday.

Biblical Answer:
When you cross the river Jordan and enter into the Promised Land, Deuteronomy 12:1,10-11 you will be required to tithe from your yearly harvest. (note: Leviticus 25:1-6 reveals that every seventh year tithing would be an impossibility, as the land is to rest every seven years)

Question:

Pastor’s Answer:
Your tithe is to go to the pastor of your local church.

Biblical Answer:
The tithe is to be given to Levites, widows, orphans foreigners, family and self in the Promised Land. Numbers 18:24-26; Deuteronomy 14:22-29

Pastor’s Answer:
Church Staff salary, Teaching supplies, Missionary Support, Church bills

It is clear that many pastors today handle the word of God deceitfully and manipulate the congregation into turning their eyes and their ears away from God’s word when it comes to the doctrine of God’s holy tithe.

Do you sit under these deceitful pastors? Is the god they preach a god that requires you to tithe? If so, flee that den of iniquity.

They are more interested in your money than your soul. Otherwise, they would not be lying to you.

Don’t Sweat the Threats
by Ronald W Robey

How I long to see the day when those who assume the office of Bishop/Apostle/Pastor cease their oppression of the people they claim to be leading in the paths of righteousness.

Sadly, so many will never admit to their congregations that they have oppressed them through the false doctrine of a monetary tithe requirement.

Many congregants who are poor suffer the most. They are accused of “robbing God,” and made to feel guilty if they do not give ten percent of their monthly Social Security checks, or of their widow’s pension, or of their hard-earned money to the local assembly they are a member of.

They are often reminded that Paul, the Apostle who was appointed to his Office by God Himself, said that no thief will enter Heaven, and that if they fail to tithe their monetary income they will be denied entrance into that eternal Kingdom of rest and peace in Christ Jesus.

Still others are threatened with curses upon their families, their jobs, the finances, and their vehicles if they do not submit to the command to tithe their monetary income.

The preacher will quote Malachi 3:8-10 to strengthen their oppressive tactics.

However, if you take the time to read every verse in the Bible concerning God’s commanded tithes, you will discover that God’s commanded tithe is

a) agricultural. Leviticus 27:30-33
b) required of the children of Israel. Leviticus 27:34
c) not to be observed in any geographical location other than the Promised Land. Deuteronomy 6:1-3; 12:1,10-11
d) to be given to Levites, widows, orphans and foreigners in the Promised Land. Numbers 18:24-26; Deuteronomy 14:28-29; Nehemiah 10:37-38
e) still agricultural in the last place it is seen as a command in the Bible. Hebrews 7:5-9
f) still the property of the sons of Levi in the last place it is seen as a command in the Bible. Hebrews 7:5-9

Given the facts on tithing from the Scriptures, we can say without reserve that you, as a New Covenant Believer in Christ Jesus, need not fear the threats levied at you from the pulpit. You can ignore the accusations that are hurled at you from the platform.

Don’t sweat the threats!

God is not going to curse you for not tithing your monetary income. Nor will He cast you in Hell for not tithing. The only prerequisite to your entering God’s eternal Kingdom is that you must be born again through faith in His only begotten Son.

Calling God a Liar
by Ronald W Robey

The preachers say, “God requires you to tithe your monetary income.” The Bible says that God’s #tithe is to be agricultural crops and livestock. (Lev. 27:30-33)

The preachers say, “God requires you to bring His tithe to your local church.” The Bible says that God’s tithe is to be obeyed only after crossing the Jordan River and entering in into the Promised Land. (Deut. 6:1-3; 12:1,10-11)

The preachers say, “God has given us the authority to take tithes from you.” The Bible says that tithes are to be given to physical descendants of the tribe of Levi in farming communities throughout the Promised Land. (Num. 18:24-26; Deut. 14:27; Neh. 10:37-38)

The preachers say, “You cannot tithe anywhere but at the House of God, the Church.” The Bible says that every third year the tithe is to be given to widows, orphans and foreigners in the Promised Land. (Deut. 14:28-29; Deut. 26:12)

It is very clear that you are not being taught the truth about the tithe, though the preachers claim they are teaching the truth. If you are believing these teachers of the monetary tithe requirement doctrine, you are not tithing what God said is to be tithed. Nor are you tithing to whom God said His tithe is to be given. Nor are you tithing where God said His tithe is to be given.

Actually, you are doing things the preacher’s way, since it is the preachers that have deceived you into believing that God requires you to tithe your monetary income, and into believing that they are the rightful recipient of the tithe.

God said in Leviticus 27:30-33 that His holy tithe is to come from agricultural increase.  When the preachers say that God’s tithe is monetary, they call God a liar.

You are following man’s perversion of the tithe, and not God’s word.

In the Bible, #tithes were never commanded for, carried to, collected in, or controlled by the New Testament Body of Believer’s commonly known as the Ekklesia.

God’s word is laid out for you to study. You have been deceived by ravening wolves disguised as men of God, and they are extorting your money, They are teaching a doctrine that is totally foreign to the pages of God’s holy word.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Extortion: The obtaining of property from another, with his consent, induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right.

The “Doing Everything But Tithing” Deception
by Ronald W Robey

So many today are posting the acronym D.E.B.T. on their Facebook pages. D.E.B.T. stands for Doing Everything But Tithing.

Those posting the acronym look down on those who do not imitate them and put ten percent of their monetary income, oft-times accusing them of being “stingy” with their money.

However, when one holds these people’s “tithing” practice against the mirror of God’s word, one can see that the ones who are giving ten percent of their monetary income are not tithing at all.

They insist that the Law of #tithing has not been abolished and is to be obeyed. And yet, they aren’t even obeying the Law of tithing themselves.

The Law of tithing said that God’s #tithe is to be taken from agricultural crops and livestock. (Lev. 27:30-33) They are not tithing agricultural crops and livestock as the Law demands,… They are instead attempting to tithe their money.

The Law of tithing said that God’s tithe is to be obeyed only after crossing the river Jordan and entering into the Promised Land. (Deut. 6:1-3; 12:1,10-11) They are not tithing in the Promised Land.. They are instead attempting to tithe in another geographical location.

The Law of tithing said that tithes are to be given to physical descendants of the tribe of Levi. (Num. 18:24-26; Deut. 14:27; Neh. 10:37-38) They are not giving tithes to the physical descendants of Levi as the Law demands. They are instead attempting to tithe to a pastor who isn’t even one of Levi’s descendants.

The Law of tithing said that every third year the tithe is to be given to widows, orphans and foreigners. (Deut. 14:28-29; Deut. 26:12) They are not tithing to widows, orphans and foreigners every three years as the Law demands. They are instead attempting to tithe to a religious institution.

It is very clear that they are not obeying the Law of the tithe, though they claim to be doing so. The only thing they are doing is submitting to God’s command to tithe, but ignoring God from that point forward. Instead of tithing to whom God said to tithe to, where God said to tithe, and what God said to tithe, they have chosen to do things their way and not God’s way.

Actually, they are doing things their Pastor’s way, since it is their pastor that has deceived them into believing that God requires them to tithe their monetary income, and into believing that he is the authorized recipient of “God’s holy tithe”.

They are following man in the tithe, and not God’s word.

In the Bible, #tithes were never commanded for, carried to, collected in, or controlled by the New Testament Body of Believer’s commonly known as the Ekklesia.

Open your eyes people! God’s Scripture is laid out for you to study. You have been deceived by your Pastors and they are extorting your money without you even realizing that they are extortioners,

It is abundantly clear that those using the acronym D.E.B.T. to accuse others are guilty themselves of Doing Everything But Tithing.

Hypocrites!

The monetary tithe requirement doctrine is totally foreign to the pages of God’s holy word.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
