A Guaranteed Return
by Ronald W Robey

Are you looking for an investment with a guaranteed sure-fire return?

There is a verse in the Bible that guarantees exactly that.

Proverbs 19:17 He that tithes his monetary income to his local church lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will He pay him again.

Oh wait,… that’s the wrong version. That was from the DPV. (Deceitful Pastor’s Version)

The real return promise is,

Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Many preachers around the world today tell their congregations that God requires them to tithe their monetary income, and that the tithe belongs in the local church that they attend,… not in charity work outside the four walls of that religious institution.

The problem?

There is no command, nor instruction in the word of God for anyone to give a tithe of their monetary income to their local Church.

Sorry folks, but it just is not there.

What is in the Bible, are verses that have to do with assisting the poor in their difficulties.

1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

What is in the Bible, are verses that have to do with caring for those who are in distress.

Proverbs 29:7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

It is the wicked that don’t want you aiding the poor. It is the deceitful pastor who would rather you ignore needs around you and instead invest your money into his ministry.

However, God’s word tells us,…

Proverbs 22:22-23 Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

Did you know that if you see a poor person in need, and you have the means to meet that need, but refuse to help that person, you are guilty of robbing that person?

So many times, people pass a beggar on the way to their local church. They have money in their purses with which they could enrich the life of that poor person, but instead take the money to their local church that already has thousands of dollars in its bank account.

When they do so, they demonstrate exactly what the Apostle John was talking about when He said,

1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

They demonstrate that, though they may have an outward appearance of godliness, their hearts have not the love of God at all.

Instead of ignoring those in need that you pass everyday when out shopping, or that you pass on your way to your local church, stop and show Christ to them. Matthew 25 says that when you give them drink and food, when you give them clothing, when you minister to their sickness,… you do so unto Christ as well.

Those people need ministering to more than your local church needs your money. Maybe it’s time you begin lending to the Lord and watch Him work.

Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
Natural? or Unnatural?
by Ronald W Robey

Venom : Since tithing was observed both prior to the Mosaic Law, and during the Mosaic Law, It is only natural for the Christian to tithe in this age after the Mosaic Law..

Anti-Venom: In the Bible, it is not recorded that Abram tithed his monetary income. However, in Genesis 14 & Hebrews 7, it is recorded that Abram tithed spoils of war.

In the Bible, it is not recorded that the children of Israel tithed their monetary income. However, it is recorded that they tithed their agricultural increase.

In the New Testament, it is not recorded that the early church tithed their monetary income. However, it is recorded that the early Christians sold houses and properties and gave 100% of the proceeds from those sales to those in need within their community.

In the Bible, it is not recorded that the early Christians were encouraged to give a tithe of their monetary income to people in need. However, it is recorded that they were encouraged to give whatever they purposed in their hearts to give.

Conclusion: Upon comparing the monetary tithe requirement to what is written in the word of God concerning God’s holy tithe, we have to admit that it is unnatural for Christians to tithe their monetary income.
1 John 2:26-27 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Pastors who teach the monetary tithe requirement doctrine seduce their members into believing that God requires them to tithe; promising them that, “God will return great blessings upon you when you give Him the ten percent He asks you to give”.

We have no need of these seducers teaching us, for we have the anointing,… the Holy Spirit. He teaches us.

Since God has gloriously freed me from the chains of the monetary tithe requirement lie, I will never sit under the authority of another monetary tithe requirement teacher again. I will allow the Holy Spirit to teach me.

Those who want to be seduced by those liars, that’s on them. They can’t say they weren’t warned.
Have You Rejected God?
by Ronald W Robey

It is interesting that of the four,… no,… five tithes in Israel, only one is pushed by pastors today.

What? You didn’t know there were five tithes? There are. Notice:

1. The children of Israel are required to tithe to the Levites the first six years in a seven year cycle. Num. 18:24-26; Neh. 10:37-38

2. The Levites are required to tithe to the House of God. This tithe is taken from the tithe they receive from the children of Israel. Num. 18:27-28; Neh. 10:37-38.

3. The children of Israel are to tithe annually to themselves. Deut. 14:22-26.

4. The children of Israel are to tithe every three years to the Levites, widows, orphans and foreigners. Deut. 14:27-29.

5. The children of Israel are required by kings to tithe. This tithe is not by command of God, but by demand of kings. 1 Sam. 8.
It appears that pastors today have taken the role of kings. They demand tithes, but they tell people it is God demanding them.
However, God never commanded tithes of money. So, it is not God demanding the tithes. it is the pastor demanding them.
Just as the children of Israel had rejected God and wanted a king to rule over them in 1 Samuel 8, many today reject God’s word and will. They instead want a pastor to rule over them.
The pastor has them deceived into believing that God requires them to tithe. In reality, God does not. His command to tithe was given to Israel only.
Psalm 147:19-20 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
Many will not even open their Bibles to see what God has to say, because they believe their man in the pulpit knows what he is talking about.
That is idolatry.
It is more dangerous to attempt to offer money to God as tithe, than it is to not attempt to tithe at all.

Allow me to explain,…

First, let me quote a couple Old Testament Scriptures,…

Leviticus 10:1-2 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

Now, you may be scratching your head, wondering what this passage has to do with tithing. I will show the connection.

In Leviticus 27:30-33, God sets the guidelines for what His holy tithe is to come from. The children of Israel were commanded to tithe of the seed of the land, the fruit of the trees, and also tithe every tenth animal to pass under the rod.

Now, Nadab and Abihu were killed by God for offering on the altar of God something that God never commanded.

The monetary tithe is something that God never commanded in His word. He said His tithe is to be agricultural.

Those churches that teach the monetary tithe requirement doctrine each Sunday Morning, (Saturday if you are an Adventist) either offer the tithe up to the Lord at the altar prior to it being taken, or after it is taken.

These churches, like Nadab and Abihu, are trying to do things their way instead of God’s way. They are offering at their altar something that God did not authorize, nor command.

Offering something that God did not command was dangerous for Nadab and Abihu. How much more dangerous is it for the one who insists God’s tithe is to come from monetary income and offers that up to God, when God said His tithe is come from agricultural increase?
Preach Truth,… or Resign!

Psalm 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

God’s word

Your Pastor can open his Bible and read Leviticus 27:30-33,…

He can open His Bible and read Malachi 3:7-10,…

…and he will be teaching from the word of God.

However, the moment he tells you that these passages are instruction to the Body of Christ,…

The moment he tells you that these passages call for a monetary tithe,…

…your pastor has left the path of Truth that God has illuminated with His word, and has begun walking a darkened trail of deceit.

Neither Leviticus 27:30-33, nor Malachi 3:7-10 speak of a monetary tithe.

The former clearly states that God’s holy tithe is the seed of the land, the fruit of the tree, and every tenth animal to pass under the rod, i.e.; agricultural.

Malachi was addressing a people who lived under the Mosaic Law. Since they lived under the Mosaic Law, the instruction in Malachi 3:7-10 can only be referring to the tithe that the Law demanded, i.e.; agricultural.

It’s time for the abuse to stop! God never commanded anyone to tithe their monetary income to Tabernacle, Temple, Synagogue or Church in any Book of the Bible. Pastors need to preach the word as it is written,… not as they think it should be.

If they can’t preach the word as it is written, they have no business behind that sacred desk known as a pulpit. They need to resign from the ministry if they are not going to stay true to the word of God.

Psalm 147:19-20 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

The command to tithe was given to the children of Israel, and to no other nation. And that command, was strictly for an agricultural tithe, not a monetary tithe.
Ordained? or Lassoed?
by Ronald W Robey

Ever hear or read of a minister saying, “If you aren’t a faithful tither, you cannot be ordained into the Gospel Ministry”?

I have,… many times over.

Strange thing though,…

I can’t find the passage in the Bible where Jesus told any of those He recruited to work in His ministry, “If you aren’t a faithful tither, you cannot be ordained into the Gospel Ministry.”

Of course, I can’t find said passage in the Bible for a very good reason,… IT”S NOT IN THE BIBLE!

Deceitful Preachers have distorted the Ministry of Truth and perverted it, making it a Ministry of Lies.

In order to be in their good standing, you must bow to their demand of a 10% tithe of your monetary income. If you are tithing so that you can become an ordained minister of a religious institution, you are effectually Lassoed into their Man’s Ministry of Lies, rather than Ordained into God’s Ministry of Truth.

You’re Being Robbed!
by Ronald W Robey

Those who insist that the Law of #tithing has not been abolished and is to be obeyed aren’t even obeying the Law of tithing themselves.

The Law of tithing said that God’s #tithe is to be agricultural crops and livestock. (Lev. 27:30-33) Are you tithing agricultural crops and livestock as the Law demands? or are you tithing your money?

The Law of tithing said that God’s tithe is to be obeyed only after crossing the Jordan River and entering in into the Promised Land. (Deut. 6:1-3; 12:1,10-11) Are you in the Promised Land? or are you in another geographical location?

The Law of tithing said that tithes are to be given to physical descendants of the tribe of Levi in farming communities throughout the Promised Land. (Num. 18:24-26; Deut. 14:27; Neh. 10:37-38) Are you giving tithes to the physical descendants of Levi as the Law demands? or are you instead giving them to a Pastor in North America who isn’t even one of Levi’s descendants?

The Law of tithing said that every third year the tithe is to be given to widows, orphans and foreigners in the Promised Land. (Deut. 14:28-29; Deut. 26:12) Are you giving the tithe to widows, orphans and foreigners in the Promised Land every three years as the Law demands? or are you giving the tithes to a religious institution in North America?

It is very clear that you are NOT obeying the Law of the tithe, though you claim to be doing so. The only thing you are doing is submitting to God’s command to tithe, but ignoring God from that point forward. Instead of tithing to whom God said to tithe to, where God said to tithe, and what God said to tithe, you have chosen to do things your way and not God’s.

Actually, you are doing things your Pastor’s way, since it is your pastor that has deceived you into believing that God requires you to tithe your dollars and cents, and into believing that he is the rightful recipient of the tithe.

You are following man in the tithe, and not God.

In the Bible, #tithes were never commanded for, carried to, collected in, or controlled by the New Testament Body of Believer’s commonly known as the Ekklesia.

Open your eyes people! God’s Scripture is laid out for you to study. You have been deceived by your Pastor’s and they are robbing you of your money, They are teaching a doctrine that is totally foreign to the pages of God’s holy word.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Warn Them!
by Ronald W Robey
(written December 10, 2016)

Venom: Most men forget to tithe. It is up to the women to remind their men to tithe their weekly checks to the Church.

Anti-Venom: Given the fact that the Bible says God’s holy tithe was restricted to agricultural crops and livestock from the Promised Land, (Lev. 27:30-33; Deut. 12:1,10-11) no one should be tithing their money.

Women should not be reminding their men to tithe. Instead, they should be warning them not to tithe. If they are not warned about the monetary tithe lie, they will bow to the preacher’s word and neglect God’s word.

Men, if your wives are telling you to tithe, you should warn them to not attempt to deceive you with the tithe lie.

On any given Sunday, there are Pastors who are handling the word of truth deceitfully, taking verses that pertain to a commandment for agricultural crops and livestock and preaching a commandment that is totally foreign to the word of God.

The pastor’s doctrine of a monetary tithe requirement allows them to effectively extort money from congregation members who reveal they are ignorant as to what God’s word says concerning God’s holy tithe.

The pattern of giving for the saved of God is not monetary tithing. It is a voluntary giving from the heart. (read Acts 4:32ff; 2 Cor. 9:6-7) No preacher should be dictating what you give. Nor should they be coercing you to give. God wants you to give out of love; not out of guilt or fear.

Church member, if your pastor is teaching that God requires church members to tithe their monetary income to the House of God, WARN THEM! Warn them that those who are liars will have their part in the lake of fire. If they will not hear you, then it is time to find a new Church…one that is built on the trusts spoken and written by the apostles and prophets; Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone..

When you accept the preacher’s doctrine without looking to see if it is in God’s word, you are guilty of placing the preacher’s word as being more authoritative than God’s word.

That is idolatry.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Testing? or Tempting?
by Ronald W Ronald Ward Robey

Venom: In Malachi 3:10, God tells us to test Him by giving Him tithes of our monetary income to the Church.

Anti-Venom: God never told us to test Him in the tithe. He was speaking to the Priest’s of Israel in Malachi 3:10, not to the New Covenant Church.

Further, since God said His tithe was to come from agricultural produce, (Lev. 27:30-33) not from monetary income, one may be tempting God rather than testing God when one tithes money.

Consider the many illnesses that fall on families who have tithed faithfully for years. I personally knew a woman who tithed faithfully for more than 50 years of her life, yet she took sick with the flu at least once a year; suffered a broken back; suffered a broken hip, was diagnosed with cancer and died.

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 promises many “curses” for those who are under the Law who do not keep the Law. Whether one realizes it or not, one is placing oneself under the Law when one uses the Malachi 3:10 argument for tithing.

How can I say this? Because Malachi lived under the Mosaic Law. The Mosaic Law was established in 1450 BC, and was in still in effect when the Book of Hebrews. (see Hebrews 7:5-9)

The Mosaic Law states that God’s holy tithe was to be agricultural, not monetary. (Read Leviticus 27:30-33) The Mosaic Law further says that man could not do what seemed right in his own eyes. (Read Deuteronomy 12:8. This same chapter identifies God’s tithe as being agricultural products, not monetary income)

Since Malachi was living under the Mosaic Law, he would have been telling people to sin had he told them to tithe their monetary income. Further, had he told them to tithe that which God did not want tithed, he himself would have been tempting God.

When pastors use Malachi 3:10, or any other verse from the Bible that commands tithing, to convince members of their congregations to tithe their monetary income, they are tempting God.

Monetary tithe exist because of lies from the pulpit and ignorance in the pews.
