Cursed Tither’s

Many, after yielding to the pastor’s guilt trip and/or fear tactics through the misuse of Malachi 3:8-10, have had their electricity cut off. Many have had cars repossessed.  Still, others are evicted from their homes and apartments for not having enough funds for rent after tithing to their religious institution.

I believe all these problems haunt the lives of many well-meaning people because, instead of applying their money where it was supposed to go, the individual placed it into the hands of a man that was never supposed to receive it,… their Pastor.  By yielding to the monetary tithe requirement doctrine, they bring curses upon their homes, their families, they vehicles and often,… their jobs.

If the vehicle is repossessed, they may lose their jobs due to not being able to drive to work as they used to do.

God gave us the power to make wealth. To those to whom much is given, much is required.

No, I am not saying God requires us to tithe our money.  Rather, God requires us to be RESPONSIBLE with our money.

When we have debts, the money in our possession is not our own.  Neither does it belong to the Church.  It belongs to those we are indebted to,… our creditors.

God wants us to pay our bills with what we have. Taking care that our families are provided for; food on the table, water for bathing, heat for the home,… and even the home itself are all necessities in our daily lives.

If we don’t pay the bills, we are neglecting our families.

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

God’s word tells us that His holy tithe is agricultural, not monetary.  God said His tithe is restricted to a specific geographical location,… the land of Canaan. It is not a global, worldwide command. (Lev. 27:30-33; Deut. 12:1,10-11)

When we yield to the deceitful monetary tithe requirement sermons being preached from the pulpit, we are basically telling God, “God, I believe my Pastor’s word,… not Yours!”

That is idolatry.
