God Robbers and Thieves
by Ronald W Robey
Monetary tithe requirement teachers often point their fingers, (figuratively) and accuse those who don’t tithe their monetary income of being “God-robbers” and “thieves”..
The fact is, teachers of the monetary tithe requirement are the ones who are guilty of robbing God.
How so?
They rob Him of His authority. He decreed in His word that His holy tithe is agricultural (Leviticus 27:30-33) and that it is to be given to the descendants of Levi. (Numbers 18:21-26) He also decreed that His holy tithe is to be observed only by those living in the Promised Land Canaan. (Deuteronomy 12:1,10-11)
However, teachers of the monetary tithe requirement doctrine refuse to let God be God. They insist that what seems right to them is better than what He has decreed in His word They have placed themselves on the throne of God through their rebellion against what He has decreed in His Holy word.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Matthew 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Yes, teachers of the monetary tithe requirement doctrine have judged non tithers as “God-robbers” and “thieves”.
Not only are they guilty of robbing God of His authority… they are also guilty of Theological Malpractice that ultimately robs their congregations of proper Scriptural nourishment. (not to mention the hundreds and thousands of dollars they extort through the financial oppression they keep their congregation members under)
Ironically, in pointing their fingers at us, they have three of their own pointing back at themselves. Their self-righteous judging of those who do not tithe their monetary income reveals that the beam in their own eye keeps them from exercising righteous judgment.
