The Anti-Christ Tithe
by Ronald W Robey

I often hear people say that Pastors are authorized to receive tithes from the members of the church body they preach to. They assume that the term “Levite” refers to a Title, rather than to a family line.

Many will also accuse those who fail to tithe their monetary income to the church as being “anti-Christ. They point to Matthew 23:23 and say things like, “See, Jesus Christ said tithing should be done. If you don’t obey Him, you are against Him…you are anti-Christ.”

The word “Levite” is not referring to a Church position…it is speaking of a bloodline descendant of Levi. A person does not become a Levite just because that person has accepted a position as Pastor in a Church. If a person is not born into the physical lineage of Levi…that person is not a Levite and can never become a Levite.

Nowhere in the Bible did God say that a person becomes a Levite by Pastoring a church flock.

Nowhere in the Bible did God say His commanded tithe it to be given to Pastors.

Nowhere in the Bible did God say His commanded tithe it to be observed outside the land of Canaan.

Nowhere in the Bible did God say His tithe is to be of one’s monetary wages.

Nowhere in the Bible did God say ten percent of one’s monetary income is to be taken to a Church.

The Bible makes it abundantly clear…when the children entered the Promised Land to possess it, the land was apportioned to eleven of the twelve tribes of Israel. God said that He gave His holy tithe to the Levite’s because they have no inheritance in the land of Canaan amongst the other eleven tribes.

People should not accuse those who do not tithe their monetary income of being “anti-Christ” if they cannot produce Scriptures to prove the monetary tithe requirement. The fact is, the monetary tithe requirement doctrine is totally foreign to the word of God. Even Jesus, in Matthew 23:23 said that the tithes that “ought to have been done” were “mint, anise, and cummin”… agricultural…not monetary.

Therefore, it is the monetary tithe requirement doctrine that is “anti-Christ”… It contradicts what Christ said the tithe consisted of.

No Honor in Disobedience
by Ronald W Robey
Malachi 1:6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
If you told your son to bring you your Bible, and he brought you a newspaper instead, would you say, “That’s exactly what I wanted!”? Of course not! So why would you think God would say “That’s exactly what I wanted!” when you attempt to give monetary tithes instead of the agricultural tithes God’s word says He asked for.? (Leviticus 27:30-33)
If you told your son to take money to his grandmother’s house for her rent and he took the money to a stranger instead, would you say, “That’s exactly to whom I wanted the money to go!”? Of course not! So, why would you think God would say, “That’s exactly to whom I wanted the tithe to go!”, when you give it to a Pastor and God says to give it to a bloodline descendant of Levi? (Numbers 18:21-26)
If you told your daughter to put the clean dishes in the cupboard and she put them into the garbage bin instead, would you say, “That’s exactly where I wanted them to go!”? Of course not! So, why would you think God would say, “That’s exactly where I wanted them to go!”, when you tithe in North America instead of in the alnd of Canaan? (Deuteronomy 12:1,10-11)
Read your Bibles people. If you are being taught that God requires monetary tithes, you are not being taught the Bible…you are being taught man’s opinion instead. There are only forty-four verses in the entire Bible that mention tithes…none of which say that God requires monetary tithes to be given to the the local church you attend.
If you want to obey the command to tithe, at least have the decency and respect for God to tithe in the manner He decreed in His word.
Before you attempt to tithe, move to the land of Canaan, where God said His tithe ordinance is to be observed. (Deut. 12:1,10-11)
When you tithe, don’t tithe money…tithe agricultural increase as God ordered. (Lev. 27:30-33)
When you tithe, don’t give your tithe on a weekly basis…give your tithe every three years as God ordained.. (Deut. 26:12)
There is no honor in disobedience
