Has Your Pastor Replaced God?
by Ronald W Robey

You say you are ready to obey God in the tithe. Are you truly ready to obey God in the tithe he requires? or, do you mean you will obey your Pastor in the tithe he demands?

Let’s find out…

Leviticus 27:30-33 says God’s tithe is to be agricultural. Will you obey God? or your Pastor?

Deuteronomy 12:10-11 says that God’s tithe is only to be observed in a specific location that God chooses in the Promised Land Canaan. Will you obey God? or our Pastor?

Deuteronomy 14:22-26 says you are to take a tithe to the place God chooses and eat the tithe there with your family. 2 Chronicles 6:5-6 reveals that place to be Jerusalem in the land of Canaan. Will you obey God? or your Pastor?

Deuteronomy 26:12 states that Gods tithe is to be given every third year. (not monthly) Will you obey God? or your Pastor?

Deuteronomy 26:12 states that Gods tithe is to be given to Levites, widows, fatherless and strangers in Canaan. (not to people outside of Canaan) Will you obey God? or your Pastor?

The above verses referenced are the verses that govern the observance of Gods tithe ordinance. Any command that does not agree with the commands above should be rejected since they disagree with Gods word.

To say that God’s tithe is monetary is to say the word of God is a lie and the God of the word a liar.

To say that Gods tithe is to be observed in Nigeria is to call the word of God a lie and the God of the word a liar.

To say that God forbids you to eat a tithe with your family is to call the word of God a lie and the God of the word a liar.

To say that God’s tithe is to be given weekly or monthly is to call the word of God a lie and the God of the word a liar.

To say that God’s tithe is to be given to preachers who are not living in Canaan is to call the word of God a lie and the God of the word a liar.

To ignore the word of God and choose to obey the Pastors tithe command is, in effect, saying, “God, I live by my Pastors word… not yours!”

An arrogant attitude, for sure. And what did God say about an arrogant attitude?

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Psalms 119:89 says that God’s word is for ever settled in Heaven. If the elements of the tithe changed, God did not change them; if the locality of the tithe changed, God did not change it; if the times of the tithe changed, God did not change them; and if the recipients of the tithe changed, God did not change them.

Pastors have handled the word of Truth deceitfully, and replaced Gods commanded tithe with a tithe command that is totally foreign to the Holy Bible.

Are you sure you are obeying God? or have you departed from the Lord and put your trust in your Pastor?

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
