Gods’ Tithe Calculator
by Ronald W Robey
(written August 05, 2018)
I use Gods’ word as, among other things…a Tithe Calculator.
Gods’ tithe calculator is not the same as the preacher’s tithe calculator.
When you assess the tithes on $603 using the preachers’ calculator, it comes to $60.30. When you assess the tithes on $603 using Gods’ calculator, it comes to $0.
When you consider the mathematics conclusion arrived at with Gods’ tithe calculator, you have to agree with the preacher when he says, “God is not after your money…He’s after your heart.”
…It’s the preacher who is after your money.
Gods’ word is for ever settled in Heaven. (Ps. 119:89) Therefore, it is more reliable than the preachers’ word.

Renounce the Monetary Tithe Lie
by Ronald W Robey
(written December 19, 2017)
The people of the Old Testament were not instructed to give ten percent of their money to either Tabernacle or Temple.
The people of the New Testament were not instructed to give ten percent of their money to either Synagogue or Church.
The instruction ‘Give ten percent of your money to the House of God’ is totally foreign to the Bible. It is a doctrine of modern construct invented by deceitful and/or greedy preachers.
Be advised… If you are a member of a religious institution that teaches its members that God’s holy tithe is ten percent of your household’s monetary income…you are in the wrong religious institution.
How can I say this? Because of Jesus’ own words in Matthew 15:9…
“But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
God doesn’t even recognize the worship in that religious institution. You may sing worship songs; you may dance; you may lift your hands and voices in praise and prayer. However, if your Pastor is filling your mind and heart with lies, all your outward show is worthless.
Do you want your worship to be recognized and accepted by God? Then, flee that den of thieves. Renounce the lies your Pastors have been feeding you. Begin studying the word of God, and walk in God’s plan for your life.

The Monetary Tithe Doctrine Teaches Replacement Theology
by Ronald W Robey

The Monetary Tithe is Replacement Theology
by Ronald W Robey
The doctrine that God’s holy tithe is monetary is a form of Replacement Theology.
1. It replaces the commanded ELEMENTS of God’s tithe
In Leviticus 27:30-33, we read that God’s tithe is to come from agricultural increase. Many Pastors today replace “agricultural increase” with “monetary income”
Leviticus 27:30-33 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD. And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
2. It replaces the commanded GIVERS of God’s tithe
In Leviticus 27:34; & Deuteronomy 12:1,10-11 we read that it is the children of Israel that are required to tithe. Psalms 147:19-20 reveal that the commands given to Israel were given to no other nation. Many Pastors today replace “children of Israel” with “New Covenant Believers in Christ Jesus”.
Leviticus 27:34 These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
Deuteronomy 12:1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 12:10-11 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
3. It replaces the commanded RECIPIENTS of God’s tithe.
In Numbers 18:21-23, Deuteronomy 14:27-29 & Deuteronomy 26:12 we read that the tithe is to be given to the tribe of Levi, to orphans, to foreigners, and to widows. Many Pastors today replace “Levites”, “orphans”, “foreigners”, and “widows” with “New Covenant Church Ministry”
Numbers 18:21-23 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die. But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
Deuteronomy 14:27-29 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee. At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
Deuteronomy 26:12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
4. It replaces the commanded LOCATION of God’s tithe
a) In Deuteronomy 12:1,10-11 we read that tithing is not to be observed unless living in the land of Canaan. Many Pastors today replace “land of Canaan” with “local assemblies all over the world.”
Deuteronomy 12:1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 12:10-11 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
b) In 2 Chronicles 6:5-6 we read that the city that God chose for tithes to be taken is the city of Jerusalem. Many pastors today replace “Jerusalem” with another city.
2 Chronicles 6:5 Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:
2 Chronicles 6:6 But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
5. It replaces the commanded TIME of God’s tithe
In Deuteronomy 26:12 we read that the third year is the year of tithing. Many Pastors today replace “the third year” with “every week, every other week, or every month.”
Deuteronomy 26:12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
6. It replaces the WHY of God’s tithe.
In Numbers 18:21 we read that the tithe was to be given to the physical bloodline descendants of Levi because they have no inheritance among the remaining eleven tribes of Israel. Many Pastors today replace the “because they have no inheritance” with “property including cars, land, houses, jets and more.”
Numbers 18:21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Lastly…
7. It replaces God.
God give the instructions of how His tithe ordinanceis to be observed. Many Pastors today replace the “God that gave specific instructions concerning the tithe ordinance” with “a god that requires tithes to be observed in an entirely different way than recorded in the Bible.”
When considering the Biblical facts, it is clear that the monetary tithe requirement doctrine is replacing truth with error; obedience with rebellion; and fact with fiction.

Where is the Promised Blessing?
by Ronald W Robey
(written December 18, 2017)
So many people use Malachi 3:10 as proof-text that we are required to tithe our money to our local church building. But if the commanded tithe is monetary as they claim, and Malachi 3:10 is instruction for us, then the blessing attached would also be for us.
Let’s look at Malachi 3:10 to see what it says:
“Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
My mother tithed faithfully for 50+ years of her life. Never once did she see a blessing so great that she did not have room enough to receive it.
And, if those who “tithe” were honest with themselves, and with God) they would have to say they have not seen such a blessing either. Notice the verse says, ” a blessing”. “Blessing” is in the singular in Malachi 3:10. It is a one-time blessing, not blessings extended over 50+ years that total more than can be contained.
Since not one single monetary tithe defender can honestly say that he or she has received the blessing that was so huge they had no room to store it, it is clear the monetary tithe is unScriptural. If it were Scriptural, and that blessing was never received, wouldn’t that make God a liar?
After all, He did say He would open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it, did He not?
The truth is, God is not a liar. But monetary tithe teachers and defenders of the monetary tithe make Him out to be one.
God never commanded the monetary tithe that Pastors preach and teach. Nor did He authorize tithes for the Church. In the Bible, God said He gave the tithe command to Israel, to be observed in the land of Canaan.
He said that the commands He gave to Israel, He gave to no other nation. (Psalm 147:19-20 ) Those who can’t face the facts can continue to believe the lying Pastors…
…I’ll believe the Word of God.

The Foolish Widow
by Ronald W Robey
(written December 16, 2015)
Luke 20:45 (KJV) 45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
In the audience of all the people, i.e.; in the hearing of all the people, Jesus spoke. All who were there could hear His words, both the rich who cast in their gifts, and the widow who cast her entire living into the treasury receptacle were within range of His voice.
Luke 20:46 (KJV) 46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
Luke 20:47 (KJV) 47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
The people in attendance heard the warning Jesus had just delivered to the disciples. They were made aware that the scribes were thieves, preying on widows. They were made aware that the scribes were a condemned lot.
The word “devour” means “forcibly appropriate.” The scribes, who were interpreters of the Law, (today’s equivalent would be our Supreme Court Justices) were forcibly putting widows on the street… taking their homes away from them.
Luke 21:1 (KJV) 1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
There is no great time frame indicated between the delivery of His warning and His looking up and seeing the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. He spoke, He sat down, (Mark 12:41) He looked up.
Luke 21:2 (KJV) 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
Here was a poor widow who had just heard Jesus’ warning that scribes were robbing widows houses. (and no doubt, may have been made poor by the scribes that Jesus was warning of)
And yet, she chose to ignore Jesus’ warning. She rejected the words of the One who would soon put an end to all sacrifice for sin. She instead gave her last two coins into the very treasury of the men that Jesus was warning of just moments earlier.
Sounds cultic, to some degree. Cult followers will ignore any warnings from outsiders who are trying to rescue them from danger. This widow chose to continue to give to the corrupt system despite the fact that she would be losing her home to the leaders of that system.
Luke 21:3 (KJV) 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
Luke 21:4 (KJV) 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
According to Mark 12:43, Jesus spoke this to His disciples. Did the rest of those in the Temple hear these words as they had the warning? We are not told. The text in Mark states that Jesus called the disciples unto Himself, so it is possible that these words were spoken privately, i.e.; only the disciples hearing.
Many sermons have been built upon the event of Luke 21:1-4 over the years. Sermons constructed to boost Church funds by convincing people that it is good to give much to the Church. Sermons which paint the widow’s actions that day as bein good and commendable.
However, there is no commendation of the widow in the text at all. It cannot be possible that Jesus Christ would first expose the corrupt religious system and its thieving Staff, and then turn around and praise a widow who chose to ignore His warning and instead foolishly put all her living into the coffers of that corrupt system.
Seeing the seeming cultic behavior of the widow, (ignoring the warnings from outsiders) I am once again reminded of a woe levied upon the scribes and Pharisees by Jesus that day,…
Matthew 23:15 (KJV) 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
The widow had been made a proselyte of the religious leaders. She chose to ignore Jesus’ warning. The corrupt religious system had her fully brainwashed into believing she was giving into the offerings of God, when in reality, they were robbing her of all her living.

Embracing the Lie
by Ronald W Robey
(written December 12, 2012)
Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Without are found dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and WHOSOEVER LOVETH AND MAKETH A LIE.
Throughout the world, there are many preachers who are guilty of “loving and making a lie.” They will stand behind their pulpits and preach a message that is designed to instill a fear of being cursed by God if one does not give ten percent of one’s money to the Church; claiming that God commands the Church members to “tithe” their money.
Their message is a lie, and God’s Word tells us that “whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” will not enter through the gates of God’s eternal city.
The “proof-text” that these “lying” preachers use is found in an address to the Priests of Israel…not to the Church. That passage relates how Israel was cursed because the tithes had been stolen from the “storehouse.”
Friends, these preachers may be preaching their false doctrine because of ignorance: i.e., lack of proper study, or it may be that they know the truth but preach the lie due to greed that is rooted in their hearts.
As I said, the “proof-text” is an address to the Priests of Israel…not to the Church. The tithe being spoken of was not a monetary tithe, it was a tithe of crops, flocks and herds… that which was commanded per the Mosaic Law. According to the Mosaic Law, the congregation of Israel did not take the tithe to the House of God, they took it to the Levites. The Levites, in turn, took a tithe of the tithe to the Tabernacle to be offered up as a heave offering. The Church today doesn’t teach the tithe according to the Word of God…they teach their own tithe…a tithe of money.
Whosoever loveth and maketh a lie… Need any more be said?
Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Pastors have a responsibility to feed the flock of God, not lies, but the truth as it is written in God’s Holy Word. And the flock has a responsibility to search the Scriptures to see if the things being taught from the pulpit are so. If the flock follows the Biblical command to “prove all things,” and to “hold fast that which is good,” the Church can move onward and upward. But, if they are willingly ignorant of what the Word of God teaches they will never grow… they will never be properly equipped to teach others the truth.
The Church is not being run properly if the leaders are leading by deceit.
