God’s Word Speaks for Itself

God’s word speaks for itself. It says that

a) the ONLY tithe God commanded was an agricultural tithe; (Leviticus 27:30-33)

b) the ONLY people God commanded to tithe were the children of Israel; (Leviticus 27:34; Psalms 147:19-20)

c) God decreed that the children of Israel were not to take tithes to the House of God; (Numbers 18:21-26)

d) the ONLY people God authorized to receive His commanded tithe are Levites, widows, orphans, and foreigners in the land of Canaan; (Numbers 18:21-26; Deuteronomy 14:27-29; 26:12)

e) the ONLY people required by God to tithe to the House of God were the Levitic bloodline of the descendants of the Patriarch Israel; (Numbers 18:21-22; Nehemiah 10:37-38)

f) the ONLY House of God that was authorized to store God’s tithes was the Temple in Jerusalem. (Deuteronomy 12:8; 2 Chronicles 6:5-6)

This means that

1. those who teach that God requires monetary tithing call the word of God a lie.

2. those who teach that God requires monetary tithes call the God of the word a liar.

3. those who teach that God requires monetary tithes are getting their doctrine from a source other than from God and His word.

4. those who teach that God requires monetary tithes are on equal ground with the serpent that said, “Yea, hath God said…?” in the Garden of Eden.
