Kept in Darkness!

Many Pastors teach the monetary tithe lie due to the denominational values of the religious institution they preside over. They hearken to the denominations requirement to preach monetary tithing, not because it is required by God, but because it is required by the denomination itself; and the pastors do not want to lose the position of authority they have been placed in.

According to Proverbs 29:12, “If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked”. The Pastor who teaches denominational values (the monetary tithe requirement lie) that contradict God’s word, not only stains his own heart with wickedness when he does so, but his entire Staff (Deacons, Musicians, Ushers, Teachers, also becomes wicked.

And the corruption of the heart doesn’t just stop at the Pastors Staff…it actually spreads like a virus throughout the entire Body…keeping the congregation in darkness as well.

The darkness spreads over the entire congregation because…

Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

The Pastor of the church, because he is the one the church body relies on to teach them, is the eye that reads the Scriptures that illuminate life’s path for the congregation . However, when a Pastor preaches denominational values that contradict the Scripture…the entire congregation walks in darkness.

The solution?

Either assign a new Pastor who will not favor denominational values over God’s word, but will teach the truth as it is written in God’s word thereby bringing light to the congregation, or flee that den of iniquity.

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,2 Corinthians 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

When a denomination’s values contradict God’s word, then that denomination’s values must be put on trial and judgment must be passed against those values.
