Which is Lying?

Christian institutions certainly should be supported financially. But not through lies.

An institution supported by lies is not “Christian”. It may be religious, but it is not Christian.

God’s church is built on the truths written and spoken by the apostles, Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone. It is not built on lies.

Ephesians 2:19-20 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

The monetary tithe requirement doctrine taught in many religious institutions around the world today is totally foreign to the pages of the Bible. It actually contradicts what God said in the Bible that His commanded tithe is. God’s word says that God’s required tithe was to come from agricultural increase.

Therefore, either God’s word is lying about what the commanded tithe is, or religious institutions around the word are lying about what the commanded tithe is.

Which of the two do you believe is lying? God’s word, or the religious institution?

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Psalm 119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
