No Wonder

Does the Bible mean anything to the modern church anymore?

a) The Bible says that God’s tithe is to be agriculture. (Leviticus 27:30,32; Deuteronomy 12:17)
The modern church says God’s tithe is to be money.

b) The Bible says that the tithe ordinance was given to the children of Israel. (Leviticus 27:30-34)
The modern church says that the tithe ordinance is given to the saved in Christ.

c) The Bible says that the tithe is not to be observed until living in the land of Canaan. (Deuteronomy 12:1,10-11)
The modern church says that the tithe is to be observed around the world.

d) The Bible says that the congregation is to take their tithe to Jerusalem. (Deuteronomy 12:10-11; 2 Chronicles 6:5-6)
The modern church says that the tithe is to be given in your town that is not Jerusalem.

e) The Bible says that the tithe is to be given to the tribe of Levi in the land of Canaan. Deuteronomy 12:10-11; Numbers 18:21)
The modern church says that the tithe is to be given to church leaders in your country which is not Canaan.

f) The Bible says to eat a tithe in Jerusalem. (Deuteronomy 14:22-26; 2 Chronicles 6:5-6)
The modern church teaches that you are not to eat the tithe.

g) The Bible says to give tithes to Levites, widows, fatherless, and strangers every third year. (Deuteronomy 14:28-29; 26:12-17)
The modern church says that the tithe belongs in your local church.

h) The Bible says that the year of tithing is every third year in a seven-year cycle. (Deuteronomy 14:28-29; 26:12-17; Leviticus 25:1-6)
The modern church says that you are required to tithe every time you get paid from your work or you receive a government check.

i) The Bible says that the storehouse was a three-tiered structure attached to the Temple in Jerusalem. (1 Kings 6:1-7)
The modern church says that the church is the storehouse

.j) The Bible says that Malachi was telling the Priests of Israel to return stolen tithes to the Temple in Jerusalem. (Malachi 1:1,6-14;2:1)
The modern church says that Malachi is telling the saved in Christ to bring tithes to their local church.

With all the lies and contradictions being taught and embraced in the modern church assemblies around the world, it is no wonder Jesus uttered these words in Matthew 7:21-23…

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

When it comes to the topic of tithing, the modern church has departed from God and is teaching a doctrine that is totally foreign to the pages of God’s word. For this reason, worship in the modern church is in vain.

Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
