Break Away
by Ronald W Robey
(written May 28, 2021)

Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

The old Covenant was ready to vanish away at the time that the author of Hebrews penned the epistle.
The year was AD 66. That was 1955 years ago.

The old Covenant was READY TO VANISH AWAY.

Sadly, there are many that cling to the old Cavenant and refuse to let it vanish. They want to live under the Law of Moses, rather than by the Grace of Almighty God. And yet, even then, when Moses is read they still have a veil over their hearts, unable to hear or understand him. For instance,

Moses told the children of Israel that God’s commanded tithe was to be agriculture and agricultural food by-products. Yet those wanting to cling to the old Covenant do not hear agriculture and agricultural food by-products. They understand Moses to mean that God’s tithe is to be money.

Moses told the children of Israel that God’s commanded tithe was to be observed only in the land of Canaan. Yet those who want to cling to the old Covenant insist that God requires tithes all over the world.

Moses told the children of Israel that they were not to do what seemed right in their own eyes. Yet those who cling to the old Covenant insist they can live by their own rules instead of those that God set forth in the old Covenant.

Here is what the apostle Paul says to those who wish to cling to the old Covenant…

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

My council to those who wish to cling to the old Covenant is as follows:

It is impossible for you to observe all that is written in the old Covenant. Therefore it would be wise for you to break away from the old and walk in the new. For in the New is where Christ resides. The old required the death of Christ. The new gives the life of Christ.

You’re Inviting a Curse
by Ronald W Robey
(written May 23, 2021)

Instead of tithing, which was a requirement under the Law of Moses, God wants Christians to give out of a heart of love, choosing for themselves what they want to give, and not forced by Law to give a specific percentage.

Attempting to obey the biblical command to tithe, which again is a requirement of the Mosaic Law, but not following all the guidelines that govern tithing, merits a curse, not favor.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

If you are trying to obey the biblical command to tithe, but are not tithing agriculture, you are inviting a curse upon yourself. Because God said His tithe is to be agriculture and agricultural food by-products.

If you are trying to obey the biblical command to tithe, but are not taking the tithe to Jerusalem, you are inviting a curse upon yourself. Because God said the congregation is to take their tithes to Jerusalem.

If you are trying to obey the biblical command to tithe, but are not giving the tithe to a bloodline descendant of the biblical patriarch Levi, you are inviting a curse upon yourself. Because God said tithes are to be given to Levites.

If you are trying to obey the biblical command to tithe and are taking the tithe to the House of God but you are not a Levite, you are inviting a curse upon yourself. Because God said only Levites are to tithe to the House of God.

Traditions of the church, specifically the monetary tithe requirement doctrine have made the word of God of none effect in the church. People worship God in vain, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

The Dark Path of Deception
by Ronald W Robey
(written May 23, 2021)

If we believe the Bible, and we should, tithing has its restrictions and guidelines.

a) the Bible says tithes are to be agriculture and agricultural food by-products. (see Leviticus 27:30,32; Deuteronomy 12:17; 14:22-26) Pastors go outside of these guidelines when they teach that money is to be tithed.

b) the Bible says that the congregation is to take their tithes to Jerusalem. (see Deuteronomy 12:10-11; 2 Chronicles 6:5-6) Pastors go outside of these gidelines when they teach that the congregation is to always bring their tithes to their local church.

c) the Bible says the congregation is not to go near the House of God with their tithes. (see Numbers 18:21-23; reaffirmed in Nehemiah 10:29,37-38) Pastors go outside of these gidelines when they teach that the congregation is to always bring their tithes to their local church.

d) the Bible says the congregation is to give their tithes to bloodline descendants of the biblical patriarch Levi; to Israeli women who have lost their husbands to death; to Israeli children who have lost their fathers to death, or whose fathers have abandoned them; to foreigners in the land of Canaan. (see Numbers 18:21-23; Deuteronomy 14:28-29; 26:12-17) Pastors go outside of these guidelines when they teach that the congregation is not to give tithes anywhere but their local church.

e) the Bible says that God only commanded the children of Israel to tithe. (see Leviticus 27:30-34; Psalms 147:19-20) Pastors go outside of these guidelines when they teach that Christians all over the world are required to tithe.

Psalms 119:105 tells us that God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Pastors go outside of the Bible to teach a tithe requirement that is found nowhere in the pages of the Bible, thereby taking you away from the illumination of God’s word so that you are walking a dark path of deception.

Free Will, or Puppetry?
by Ronald W Robey

Over the years, I have heard many arguments in defense of the monetary tithe requirement Law. One such argument is that Abraham tithed of his own free will, and that Christians should be allowed to tithe of their own free will also.
But are they truly tithing of their own free will? Or is something more nefarious going on?

The problem is not that people are exercising free will. We all should exercise free will in our contributions toward necessities within the Body of Believers in Christ Jesus.
The problem is the fact that pastors lie to their congregations about

a) who God required to tithe.

God said that the command to tithe was given solely to those who would become citizens of the land of Canaan. (Leviticus 27:30-34; Psalms 147:19-20; Acts 15:24)

Many Pastors teach that God expects Christians all over the world to tithe.

b) what God said that His tithe was to consist of.

God said that His tithe is to consist of agriculture and agricultural food by-products. (Leviticus 27:30,32; Deuteronomy 12:6;14:22-23,26)

Many Pastors teach that God’s tithe is to be money.

c) who God said that tithes were to be given to.

God said that tithes are to be given to the Levitic tribe in Canaan, to widows in Canaan, to the fatherless in Canaan, and to foreigners in Canaan. (Numbers 18:21-26; Deuteronomy 14:27-29;26:12)

Many Pastors teach that tithes are to be given to deacons or ushers in the local church to be put in the church bank account.

d) who God said was required to tithe to the House of God.

God said that the congregation could not even approach the House of God. (Numbers 18:21-23) God said only the Levitic tribe could take tithes to the House of God. (Numbers 18:24-31; Nehemiah 10:29,37-38)

Many Pastors teach that the congregation is required to bring their tithes to the House of God.

e) where God said the congregation is to take their tithes.

God said that the congregation was to take its tithes to Jerusalem. (Deuteronomy 12:10-11; 2 Chronicles 6:5-6)

Many Pastors teach that the congregation is to bring their tithes to the church they are members of in cities all over the world.

When comparing what many pastors teach in religious institutions around the world today with what is written in the pages of the Bible, it is abundantly clear that in the matter of tithing many pastors preach their own opinions and not the word of God. This begs the question…

Are members of the congregation truly exercising their free will, when they are actually yielding to lies they hear from the pulpit?

I do not believe they are. They are instead yielding their will to their pastor, who has bewitched them into believing the lie of the monetary tithe requirement. They have become their Pastor’s puppets, yielding to the Pastor’s will and not to God’s word.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Hidden in Plain Sight
by Ronald W Robey
(written May 18, 2018)

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth, not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

One thing that I have noticed when discussing the topic of the Biblical tithe with a person who has been lied to by his/her Pastor(s) for years about God’s Biblical tithe Ordinance; they have been bewitched to the point that though the Scriptures are right there for them to read and learn from…

…the truth that is written in the Scriptures are hidden to them.

The only part of Leviticus 27:30-33 that they seem to see and understand is, “And all the tithe of the land…(obscured)…is the LORD’s. It is holy unto the Lord.”The only part of Matthew 23:23 that they seem to see and understand is, …(obscured)…ye tithe…(obscured)…this ye ought to have done…(obscured)…

The only parts of Biblical texts on tithing that they are able to see and understand is what their religious denomination wants them to see and understand. But there is so much more that they do not see.

For instance, in the text of Leviticus, we see that the tithes that God said were holy and belong to Him are agricultural…not money. They are, “the seed of the land; the fruit of the tree; and every tenth animal to pass under the rod”. Money is not mentioned in that passage at all. Yet, what God says is to be tithed appears to be hidden in plain sight.

And in the text of Matthew 23:23, we again see that money is not mentioned at all. What Jesus said ought to have been tithed was “mint and anise and cummin”. Jesus said agriculture ought to have been tithed. Yet, what God says is to be tithed appears to be hidden in plain sight.

But why is the truth that is written in the Scripture hidden from their eyes and heart? Becuase they are trusting the word of man…their Pastors…and not the word of God. Until they stop putting their trust in what their Pastors say, and start seeking God on the matter, the truth will remain “hidden in plain sight”.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Where Lies Your Loyalty?
by Ronald W Robey
(written May 02, 2021)

Where does your loyalty lie?

God said in Leviticus 27:30-34 that His tithe is to be agricultural, i.e

a) seed of the land
b) fruit of the tree
c) every tenth animal to pass under the rod.

Many pastors today say that tithes are to be monetary.

God said in Numbers 18:21-23 that

a) the congregation is not to take their tithes to the House of God
b) the congregation is to give their tithes to the tribe of Levi

Many pastors today teach that the congregation is to take their tithes to the church and give them to the church bank account.

Now, who is the congregation being loyal to in the tithe? God, or their pastors?

The fact is, many pastors today, by handling the word of God deceitfully, have convinced their congregtions that God requires them to give a tithe that God never required to a place God never authorized to store His required tithes.

And their loyalty is to their pastors.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
