No Better

Argument: “The church cannot be funded properly if we do not obey the Spirit of God and give our tithes. It is our tithes that fund the operations of His Kingdom.

Rebuttal: The Bible says that God’s commanded tithe is to be

a) seed of the land. (Le. 27:30)
b) fruit of the tree. (Le. 27:30)
c) every tenth animal to pass under the rod. (Le 27:32)
d) corn. (De. 12:17)
e) wine. (De. 12:17)
f) oil. (De. 12:17)
g) seed. (De. 14:22)
h) corn. (De. 14:23)
i) wine. (De.14:23)
j) oil. (De.14:23)
k) oxen. (De. 14:26)
l) sheep. (De. 14:26)
m) wine. (De. 14:26)
n) strong drink. (De. 14:26)

Holy men of old wrote these things under inspiration of the Holy Spirit. So I highly doubt that the Holy Spirit is going to tell anyone, “No…that’s not right. God did not require tithes of seed of the land; fruit of the tree; every tenth animal to pass under the rod; oil, wine, strong drink…God required tithes of money…and requires tithes of your money today.”

I’ll continue to preach what is written in God’s word concerning His required tithes. If I’m wrong, then God’s word is also wrong.

If God’s Kingdom must be funded through doctrines that contradict the Bible, then God’s Kingdom is no better than Satan’s Kingdom.

You’re Doing It All Wrong!

In the Bible, God tells us WHAT His required tithe are to consist of. (see Leviticus 27:30,32; Deuteronomy 12:17)

In the Bible God tells us WHO is required to tithe. (see Leviticus 27:30-34; Numbers 18:26)

In the Bible, God tells us WHO is to receive tithes. (see Numbers 18: 21-26; Deuteronomy 14:27-29; 26:12-17)

In the Bible, God tells us HOW His required tithe is to be observed. (see Numbers 18:21-31; Nehemiah 10:37-38)

In the Bible, God tells us WHERE tithes are to be observed. (see Deuteronomy 12:10-11; 2 Chronicles 6:5-6)

In the Bible, God tells us WHO He requires to tithe to the House of God. (see Numbers 18:26-31; Nehemiah 10:37-38)

In the Bible, God tells us WHEN His required tithes are to be observed. (see Deuteronomy 14:22-26,28-29; 26:12-17)

In the Bible, God tells us WHY tithes are to be observed. (see Numbers 18:21-23; Deuteronomy 14:22-23)

Sadly, while the what’s; who’s; how’s; where’s; when’s; and why’s concerning God’s commamnded tithes are carried to the pulpits in many religious institutions around the world, they never reach the ears of the members of the congregation’s in these religious institutions.

Instead, the pastor will open the Book that contains the what’s; who’s; how’s; where’s; when’s; and why’s of God’s commanded tithe and then preach an entirely different tithe that is to be observed by an entirely different people in an entirely different location in an entirely different manner.

And then they have the audacity to tell the members of their congregations that it is “God’s tithe” they are preaching.

Wake up saints…you’re doing it all wrong. And therefore God doesn’t even recognize your “obedience to tithing” as obedience to Him.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

If He Contradicts the Bible…He’s Lying!
by Ronald W Robey

There is a way to tell if a pastor is lying to his congregation when he preaches a tithe sermon.

1. If the pastor teaches that God requires monetary tithes, he contradicts Leviticus 27:30,32 & Deuteronomy 12:17.

2. If a pastor preaches that God requires the saved in Christ to tithe, he contradicts Leviticus 27:34; Psalms 147:19-20; & Acts 15:28-29.

3. If a pastor preaches that God requires him to take tithes from his congregation, he contradicts Numbers 18:21 & Psalms 147:19-20.

4. If a pastor teaches that God requires the congregation to bring tithes to the House of God, he contradicts Numbers 18:21-23 & Nehemiah 10:29,37-38.

5. If a pastor that lives outside of the land of Canaan preaches that tithes are to be brought to his local church, he contradicts Deuteronomy 12:10-11.

6. If a pastor preaches that the congregation is not to eat their tithes, he contradicts his own statement that tithes are money.

7. If a pastor preaches that tithes and firstfruits are the same, he contradicts Nehemiah 10:29,37-38.

8. If a pastor preaches that Malachi 3:10 is instruction for the congregation of the new covenant Body of Believers in Christ Jesus to tithe, he contradicts Malachi 1:1; 2:1; & 3:6.

9. If a pastor preaches that Matthew 23:23 & Luke 11:42 say that God requires monetary tithes, he contradicts the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 23:23 & Luke 11:42.

10. If a pastor teaches that Matthew 23:23 & Luke 11:42 are verses that prove Chrstians are to tithe, he contradicts the words of Jesus Chirst in Matthew 23:23 & Luke 11:42.

11. If a pastor preaches that Luke 18:9 is saying that we are required to tithe our money, he is contradicting Leviticus 27:30, Deuteronomy 12:17, Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42; & Luke 9.

12. If a pastor teaches that Hebrews 7:8 says that the saved in Christ are requried to tithe their money, he contradicts the context, i.e Hebrews 7:5-9.

How do you know if a pastor is lying? If he contradicts the Bible…

…he’s lying!.

It Was Impossible!
by Ronald W Robey
(written July 19, 2021)

Under the Law, it was impossible for Gentiles to tithe to God..

Leviticus 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.

In Leviticus 27:30 God said that the tithe of the land is His. Verse 34 of this same chapter tells us that the command to tithe was given to the children of Israel.

Leviticus 27:34 These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

In Deuteronomy 12:10-11 we read that the place to tithe is located in the land of Canaan. Therefore, when God said that the tithe of the land is His in Leviticus 27:30, He was specifically referring to the land of Canaan.
He was not speaking of the entire Earth.

Deuteronomy 12:10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
Deuteronomy 12:11 Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
One may argie, “But Exodus 12:49 says, ‘One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.’ Therefore tithing is not just for Israelites to observe, but for Gentiles also.”

Not so fast…

The children of Israel inherited the land of Canaan, and the tithe was to come from the agriculture that the land produced. Gentiles owned no part of the land. This begs the question…

What would Gentiles tithe, if they owned no land on which to raise/breed the items that God said were to be tithed?

The answer, of course, is they could not tithe at all. So the argument that so many Gentiles give, “God never told us to stop tithing” fails miserably. Gentiles could not tithe, so why would God tell them to stop doing what they were not doing to begin with?

It was impossible for Gentiles to even obey God’s command to tithe.

Yes, But Is it Working God’s Way?
by Ronald W Robey
(written July 01, 2021)

You say tithe is working for you, and you will continue to tithe? Tithe may be working for you, but if it is not working in the manner God said it will work, you must not be tithing in the manner God said to tithe.
.
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.Malachi 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.Malachi 3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Question: Has God opened the windows of Heaven and poured out a blessing that was so large that you had absolutely no room in your house or in your barn to contain that blessing as He promised?

Question: Has God truly rebuked the devourer, so that your gardens were not damaged by insects as He promised?
Question: Has He kept the fruit in your gardens from falling off the vine prematurely as He promised?

Question: Do all nations of the world call your nation blessed as He promised?

Question: Is your land a delightsome land as He promised?

If not, then God has not bestowed upon you the promises He gave in Malachi 3:10-12 and you must not be tithing in the manner God commanded.

Might want to Study the Scriptures diligently to see what exactly God said concerning

a) who He required to tithe
b) who He said the tithe is to be given to
c) what He said His tithe is to consist of
d) where He said His tithe is to be taken
e) who He said is required to tithe to the House of God

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

If you offend in just one point of God’s tithe ordinance, you are guilty of not tithing at all. You must keep all the commands written in the ordinance in order to experience the blessings promised for observing the ordinance.
