A Multi-faceted Contradiction

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Since all Scripture is for correction, the Holy Spirit will never contradict the written word of God.

The monetary tithe requirement doctrine is a multi-faceted contradiction to the written word of God.

1. It contradicts the fact that the written word of God reveals that God’s commanded tithe is to be agriculture and agricultural food by-products.

2. It contradicts the fact that the written word of God reveals that God said the command to tithe was given to the Israelites.

3. It contradicts the fact that the written word of God reveals that the place that His tithe is to be observed is in the land of Canaan.

4. It contradicts the fact that the written word of God reveals that God said the congregation is not even to go near the House of God with their tithes.

5. It contradicts the fact that the written word of God reveals that only the tithe of the tithe was to be given to the House of God.

6. It contradicts the fact that the written word of God reveals that only thre tribe of Levi was commanded by God to take tithes to the House of God.

7. It contradicts the fact that Malachi was speaking to Levite Priests when he said to bring the tithes into the storehouse.

8. It contradicts the fact that the storehouse for God’s tithe was a structure in Jerusalem.

Since the monetary tithe requirement contradicts the word of God, this can mean only one of two things…

a) either the written word of God is lying about God’s commanded tithe
or
b) pastors are lying about God’s commanded tithe

Amos 3:3 asks the question:

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

How can pastors be walking with God, when they don’t agree with His written word?

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
