36 Facts Concerning God’s Commanded Tithe

Fact #1 Malachi is calling for a return to God’s ordinances in Malachi 3:7.

Fact #2 God’s tithe ordinance says that His commanded tithe is to be agricultural, i.e seed of the land; fruit of the tree; every tenth animal to pass under the rod. Leviticus 27:30,32

Fact #3 God’s tithe ordinance says that the command to tithe was for the children of Israel. Leviticus 27:34

Fact #4 God’s tithe ordinance says that those whom He commanded to tithe were to first move to the land of Canaan to live there before He would tell them where to take their tithes. Deuteronomy 12:10-11

Fact #5 God’s tithe ordinance says that the congregation is to give tithes to the tribe of Levi as an inheritance. Numbers 18:21

Fact #6 God’s tithe ordinance says that a bloodline descendant of the biblical patriarch Aaron must be present at the time that the congregation gives their tithe to the Levite. Nehemiah 10:37-38

Deut. 14:26

Fact #11 God’s tithe ordinance says that the congregation is not to eat a tithe in Jerusalem the third year, but is to distribute it amongst the poor in their own cities the third year. Deuteronomy 14:28-29; 26:12

Fact #12 Malachi 3:8-10 cannot be speaking of any other tithe than the tithe governed by the ordinances listed in Facts #1-11 above.

Fact #13 God would not call for a return to His ordinances in Malachi 3:7 and then tell the congregation to transgress the ordinances by bringing their tithes to the House of God in Malachi 3:10.

Fact #14 God would not be calling for monetary tithes in Malachi 3:10 since He was calling for a return to His ordinances in Malachi 3:7 and His ordinances say that God’s tithe is to be agricultural.

Fact #15 Pastors who use Malachi 3;8-9 to accuse people of being thieves if they do not tithe their monetary income are inadvertently accusing the Lord Jesus Christ also. (for there are verses in the Gospels that prove undeniably that the Lord Jesus Christ did not teach monetary tithing)
