Are You Obeying God in the Tithe?

by Ronald W Robey

(written May 31, 2022)

You say you are obedient to God in the tithe? Let’s find out if you really are, shall we?…

First and foremost, are you living in the land of Israel? If you are tithing, but not living in the land of Israel, you are not obedient to God in the tithe. (see Deut. 12:10-11)

Is your tithe agriculture and agricultural food by-products? If your tithe is not agriculture and agricultural food by-products, you are not obedient to God in the tithe. (see Lev. 27:30,32; Deut. 12:17)

Are you giving your tithe to a biological bloodline descendant of the biblical patriarch Levi? If you are not giving your tithe to a biological bloodline descendant of Levi, you are not being obedient to God in the tithe. (see Num. 18:21)

Are you taking a second tithe to Jerusalem annually to eat before the Lord? If you are not taking a tithe annually to Jerusalem to eat before the Lord, you are not obedient to God in the tithe. (See Deut. 14:22-26)

Are you a biological bloodline descendant of the biblical patriarch Levi? If you are not a biological bloodline descendant of the biblical patriarch Levi but are taking your tithe to the House of God, you are not being obedient to God in the tithe. (see Num. 18:21-23)

Are you giving a tithe to the poor every third year? If you are not giving a tithe to the poor every third year, you are not obeying God in the tithe. (see Deut. 14:28-29; 26:12-17)

If your tithe is anything other than what God said it is to be you are trying to do things your way and not God’s way.

Perceived Blessings

by Ronald W Robey

(written May 20, 2022)

You believe yourself to be blessed because of your giving monetary tithes. But I would encourage you to consider where your perceived “blessing” might be coming from.

Let me explain. The blessings God gives for obedience to obeying His commands can be found in Deuteronomy 28:1-13. But these blessings are predicated upon, not just the observance of tithing, but upon the observance of all 613 commands written in the Law of Moses.

If one offended in just one point of the Law but kept the other 612…he was guilty of all 613. And if he was guilty then the curses of Deuteronomy 28:14ff were to be expected, not blessings.

Now, I said in my first paragraph that I encourage you to consider where your perceived “blessings” might be coming from. And here is why…

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Matthew 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Satan often offers rewards to those who will yield to his lies.

And the monetary tithe requirement doctrine is a lie because it contradicts what God said His commanded tithe is to be.

Is the Bible Lying to Us?

(or is the preacher the one that is lying?)

by Ronald W Robey

a) According to the Bible, Leviticus 27:30,32; Deuteronomy 12:17 Gods’ tithe is to be agriculture and agricultural food by-products. Is the Bible lying to us?

b) According to the Bible, Leviticus 27:34 the command to tithe was given to the children of Israel. Is the Bible lying to us?

c) According to the Bible, Psalms 147:19-20 the commands given to Israel were given to no other nation. Is the Bible lying to us?

d) According to the Bible, Deuteronomy 12:10-11 those who God commanded to tithe were to move to the land of Canaan to live there and the place God would choose to place His name would in Canaan would be the place God’s commanded tithe was to go. Is the Bible lying to us?

e) According to the Bible, Numbers 18:21 God gave the tithe required of the congregation to the Levites as their inheritance. Is the Bible lying to us?

f) According to the Bible, Numbers 18:21-23 the congregation was not to tithe to the House of God. (obviously if the tithe of the congregation was to be the inheritance of the Levite it could not be the property of the House of God) Is the Bible lying to us?

g) According to the Bible, Nehemiah 10:29,38 the tithe of the tithe is what is the property of the House of God, not the full tithe given by the congregation. Is the Bible lying to us?

h) According to the Bible, Numbers 18:21-23; Nehemiah 10:29,38 the Levite is the only one God authorized and commanded to tithe to the House of God. Is the Bible lying to us?

i) According to the Bible, Malachi 3:7 is calling for a return to God’s ordinances. (a-h above) Therefore, Malachi cannot be speaking to the congregation as the ordinances say that the congregation is not to go near the House of God with their tithes. He would not call for a return to God’s ordinances in verse 7 and then tell the congregation to transgress the ordinances in verse 10.

Likewise, Malachi cannot be speaking of monetary tithes, for he was calling for a return to God’s ordinances. And again, he would not call for a return to God’s ordinances in verse 7 and then tell people to transgress the ordinances in verse 10.

So Malachi is speaking of agricultural tithes. Specifically, the tithe of the agricultural tithes that the Levite received from the congregation.

j) According to the Bible, Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42 the scribes and Pharisees were tithing agricultural crops and Jesus said they ought to have been doing so. Is the Bible lyng?

k) According to the Bible, Hebrews 7:5-9 the Levites still had a command to take tithes, “according to the Law”, i.e agricultural tithes. Is the Bible lying?

There is not one verse inn the entire Bible where God commands anyone to take a tenth of their monetary income to the House of God. But many handle the word of God deceitfully. And through that deceit, they have made the word of God a lie and the God of the word a liar.

Defeated Doctrines

by Ronald Robey

(written May 07, 2022)

Many of the tithe doctrines that are taught in our modern church assemblies today can be easily proven to b e erroneous if those who claim to love God’s word would only pick up God’s word and read it for truth. For instance:

Leviticus 27:30,32; Deuteronomy 12:17 defeats the doctrine that God’s commanded tithe is to be monetary.

Leviticus 27:30-34 defeats the doctrine that the command to tithe was given to tithe was given to the saved in Christ.

Deuteronomy 12:10-11 defeats the doctrine that tithing is to be observed all over the world.

Numbers 18:21-23 defeats the doctrine that God requires the congregation to tithe to the House of God.

Malachi 1:1,6-14; 2:1 & 3:7 defeat the doctrine that Malachi is telling the saved in Christ to tithe to the House of God.

Matthew 23:23 defeats the doctrine that tithing is not a matter of the Law.

Sadly, many have been blinded by religious lies that they will not pick up their Bibles and search out these nuggets of truth.
