Confused
by Ronald W Robey

Confusion is brought about when…

a) A subject has a belief that is factual, and his belief is challenged by a teaching that is false.

b) A subject has a belief that is false, and his belief is challenged by a teaching that is factual.

Often, when the topic of God’s holy tithe is discussed on Social Media, one party will express that he or she is confused and that the one teaching is the one who is causing the confusion.

They are quick to argue that the Bible says that, “God is not the author of confusion”. They then conclude that, because they are confused at the new teaching, the teacher must not be of God… for he is the one causing the confusion.

Sadly, due to false doctrine taught in many mainstream religious institutions today, one who bears truth is often seen as being a “tool of the devil”, “sent to deceive the children of God.”

As I mentioned in the beginning of this article, confusion can be due to false doctrine being challenged.

For the last one hundred forty-seven years in American History, many mainstream religious institutions have taught that

a) God’s tithe is monetary

b) God requires all members of the Body of Christ to tithe

c) God requires you to bring a tenth of your weekly/bi-weekly/monthly household income to the local House of worship you attend

d) God said that if you do not tithe your household income, you are robbing Him

These four major teachings of mainstream institutions have absolutely no Scriptural support whatsoever. As a matter of fact, if one were to study the word of God as one should, one will discover that what is being taught in mainstream religious institutions as being “God’s holy tithe” doesn’t reflect what the Bible says concerning God’s holy tithe.

Here is what the Bible says concerning God’s holy tithe…

a) the one tithing must be a physical descendant of the Patriarch Jacob. (Leviticus 27:30-34; Psalms 147:19-20)

b) the one tithing must have been given a portion of the Promised Land by God as an inheritance. (Genesis 28:13-15)

c) the one tithing must live in the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 6:1-3; 12:1,10-11)

d) the one tithing must raise crops or breed livestock on that portion of the Promised Land he has inherited (Leviticus 27:30-33)

e) the one tithing must take a tenth part of the crops raised and/or every tenth animal of the livestock to pass under a rod to a physical descendant of the patriarch Levi in the farming communities in the Promised Land. (Leviticus 27:30-33; Numbers 18:24-26; Nehemiah 10:37-38)

f) The one tithing must have a physical descendant of the patriarch Aaron present at the time that he gives his tithe to the Levite. (Nehemiah 10:37-38)

If, after reading this article you are confused, it reveals that previously you have not been given the truth concerning God’s holy tithe. A pastor, or pastors you previously trusted are guilty of abandoning Scripture in order to teach you what is not written in Scripture…a monetary tithe requirement.

And, because they did not teach you the truth, when the truth was presented in this article…you became confused.

Your Pastor/Pastors abandoned Scripture to indoctrinate you with false teaching. I now encourage you to abandon your Pastor’s false teaching and indoctrinate yourself with the written word of God.
